WEST COAST

A front over northern Fiordland at 8pm Sunday is expected to cross
Westland overnight bringing another burst of heavy rain to the ranges.
60 to 80mm of rain is likely about the ranges of Westland south of
Otira through to about 7am Monday morning. This is not a
particularly large amount of rain for this area, however coming on the
back of recent heavy falls, may cause rivers and streams to rise
rapidly.

The warning for the ranges of northwest Nelson and Fiordland is
lifted. However, further heavy showers are likely in Fiordland through
to midday Monday, but rainfall amounts are no longer expected to
reach warning criteria.
