Search and rescue underway in Tararuas

Levin Search and Rescue are conducting a Search for a missing person in the Tararua Forest Park.

Two Levin Search teams are making steady progress into the forest Park toward the Kime hut area.

Westpac Rescue Helicopter is on Standby at Paraparaumu Airport.

The search is being controlled out of Levin Police station by O/C SAR Sergeant Bigwood, A full press release will be sent at the conclusion of this search from Sgt Bigwood
