Lost 4-year-old girl in Wellington

Police are asking the public in the Wellington Rd, Ruahine St area of Hataitai to keep a look out for a small child aged about 4yrs old.

At about 4:30am this morning roading contractors working at the Wellington Rd and Ruahine St corner saw a little girl walk onto their site.

The workers have tried to talk to and find out what she was doing but she left quickly and was last seen on Wellington Rd towards Constable St.

The description is a girl about 4yrs old, skinny in appearance, wearing yellow and black pyjamas, she is a caucasian with brown hair and was wearing socks.

Police along with the contracting staff are driving around looking for the child now.
