Motor vehicle crash - truck vs train

At about 11 50 am on Friday 14 March 2008, police were called to the scene of a crash between a truck and a train at the intersection of Hawke Road and Reilly Road in Orari.

As a result of the collision one person is believed to have received fatal injuries.

Hawke Road will be closed for sometime but diversions are in place.
