12-year-old boy admits Te Atatu South arson

Waitakere Police have spoken to a 12 year old boy who has admitted responsibility for the arson at Rangeview Intermediate School on Sunday 16th March 2008.

A classroom block was extensively damaged in the fire. 

He has also admitted lighting several other fires in the Te Atatu South area in recent weeks.

The boy will be dealt with by the Waitakere Youth Aid Section. He is not a student at Rangeview Intermediate School.
