There has been a fatal motor vehicle accident on SH 2, Papamoa at the intersection of SH 2 and Kairua Road.
The road will be closed for some time while Police investigate and clear the road.
Traffic is being diverted at Welcome Bay and Kairua Roads intersection and also at SH 2 and Domain Road.
