Firearms incident in Papamoa

Following enquiries from the media I can confirm the following at Papamoa, Bay of plenty.

Tauranga police are currently trying to locate a Male following a report of a firearm being discharged this morning in the Papamoa Area.

The local Armed offenders squad is currenly executing several search warrants.
