AUCKLAND

The ANZ Championship netball series launched today with a sensational star-studded event hosted by ANZ at Auckland's Britomart Pavilion.

Prime Minister the Rt Hon Helen Clark was among the guests who watched two thrilling games of netball - a curtain raiser game featuring a Celebrity All-Star team vs the Auckland secondary school champion team, Mt Albert Grammar School, followed by an all-star team of ANZ Championship players from all New Zealand franchises playing a Dream Team of former netball greats.
