Truck break down blocks traffic

Taihape Police are currently dealing with the break down of a large truck and trailer unit just south of Spooners Hill on SH 1.

The 'B Train' is blocking the slow lane for north bound traffic and care is required for all motorists travelling along that stretch of the road.

A heavy tow vehicle is heading to the truck from Palmerston North and traffic will be impeded for at least 2 hours.
