Man presents note during bank robbery

At about 2pm on 3/4/08 a male has entered the BNZ bank in Cromwell, Central Otago, wearing a mask.

He has presented a note and demanded money.

A female teller has handed over an undisclosed amount of money which was put into a bag the offender was carrying.

He has then left on foot.

No weapons were seen.

Police have responded from the surrounding region and witnesses are currently being spoken to.
