Crash involvong serious injury in Tarawera Forest

Kawerau police and other ememergency services have responded to a serious injury crash in the Tarawera Forest.

A Truck and another light vehicle have collided leaving three persons with various injuries. One person is still trapped in a vehicle.

Fire personel are working to free the person and a helicopter is attending for transport.

Serious crash investigators will be investigating.

The Road is a Forestry road and is unlikely to cause any traffic issues
