Fatal crash in Palmerston North

At 1535hrs this afternoon emergency services were called to the scene of a crash between a motorcycle and car at the intersections of Walding and Taonui Streets in Palmerston North.

The male rider of the motorcycle, believed to be in his late teens, has died while enroute to Palmerston North hospital via ambulance.
