Four charged with assault on 14-year-old

Four persons have been arrested and charged with the serious assault on the 14 year old victim.

They are due to appear at the Christchurch District Court on Monday 14 April 2008.

Enquiries are on going and it is expected that further charges will be laid.

The victim is still in hospital in a stable condition and is improving.
