Police ask drivers to avoid crash area

Police are presently in attendance at a serious crash on State Highway 1 between Templeton and Rolleston near Birketts Road.

It is expected that the road may be closed for a short time while emergency services work at the scene.

The public are asked to exercise extreme caution if driving in the area, or if possible, avoid the area altogether.
