Shell Station Robbery
Wellington Police are investigating a robbery at the Shell petrol station on Constable Street, Newtown on Thursday night, 17th April 2008.
A male entered the store shortly after 10.00pm and demanded money from the attendant.
The male stole cash and ran from the store. He was last seen running left from Constable Street into Daniel Street carrying a plastic bag.
The attendant was shaken but unhurt.
The offender is described as a very short, Maori or Polynesian male aged 25 to 35-years-old, with black curly hair to his shoulders.
His face was covered by a patterned bandana and he also wore goggles.
Police want to speak to anyone who can identify this offender or who saw him before or after the robbery.
