Fatal crash in Waipu

At approximately 11.40am there was a fatal crash at the intersection of SH1 and Mountfield Road, Waipu, Northland.

A truck and ute vehicle collided with 1 person reported dead at the scene.

The Police Serious Crash Unit are at the scene investigating. Diversions are in place at Mountfield Road and SH1 and also at Dr Hills Road and SH1.
