Vehicle crash North of Gisborne

Police are advising motorists to expect delays when travelling between Gisborne and Tolaga Bay (on State Highway 35) to expect delays.

At about 12.20pm today, a logging truck rolled at Tatapouri (North of Gisborne) and is completely blocking the road. It has rolled near a camping ground, although there are no injuries to the truck driver or any other person.

The road is expected to be blocked for up to 3 hours, as a crane is to be used to remove the truck.
There are currently no diversions in place, due to a lack of alternative routes for this area.
