At approximately 4.37pm this afternoon there was a fatal motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Broadlands Road and Centennial Drive, Taupo.
There are no road diversions in place at this stage but the Serious Crash Unit are responding to the scene.
It has been confirmed that there are 2 deceased persons at the scene.
