One dead after crash in Kaiaua

Police and emergency services are responding to a vehicle collision on East Coast Road, near the intersection with Rangipo Road, Kaiaua.

One vehicle was involved and the sole occupant is deceased.

A diversion is in place at the intersection of East Coast Road and Front Miranda Road.

Vehicles are asked to avoid the area where possible.

The diversion will be in place for a number of hours and Police seek any witnesses to the incident.
