Man found dead in inner city apartment

Wanganui Police are investigating the death of a 56yr old man found in an inner city apartment yesterday.

He was found in the apartment by friends.

Police are treating his death as suspicious and are looking into the circumstances surrounding the death.

The apartment and surrounding area have been cordoned off for forensic examination.

Wanganui Police are wanting to speak with anybody who lives, works or has seen anything suspicious in the vicinity of Ridgway Street and St Hill Street area since Saturday the 10th May 2008.
