Hornby pharmacy robbed

At about 2.25 pm on Thursday 15 May 2008 the Spreydon Pharmacy at 240 Barrington Street, Christchurch was robbed by a female holding a knife.

The woman demanded a bottle of methadone from the pharmacist and then left on foot down Milton Street towards Colombo Street.

There were 4 staff in the pharmacy at the time of the robbery none of whom were directly threatened by the woman.

The woman is described as a female Caucasian aged in her 30's.

She was of slight build and approximately 5'5' tall with long brown hair tied back in a ponytail.

She was wearing a red paisley patterned bandana to cover her face, a black fleece zip up sweatshirt and black track suit pants.
