Fatal crash in Christchurch

At about 6.30pm on 16 May 2008 Christchurch police attended a fatal crash on Lower Styx Road.

The crash involved one vehicle and resulted in 1 person being killed and 1 being seriously injured.

The road remained closed for most of the evening and police enquiries are continuing.

The name of the deceased will be released once next of kin have been advised.
