Police search for missing man

South Auckland Police are concerned for the safety and welfare of missing 61 year old, Maurice Emery, who suffers from schizophrenia and dementia.

Mr. Emery was last seen at 2pm on the 17th of May 2008 at Hunter's Plaza, Papatoetoe.

He is a male Maori, 190cm, thickset, with bushy grey hair.

He is wearing a zipped light maroon jersy and charcoal trackpants with Maori motifs down the side, he is also wearing black shoes.

Although he is described as no risk to himself or others there are concerns for his whereabouts due to his illnesses.
