One adult and one child dead after southern crash

At about 11.57pm on 17/5/08 a utility vehicle has crashed near Greenfield, approximately 30km from Balclutha, Otago.

There were 5 occupants in the vehicle, 2 adults and three children.

One adult and one child died at the scene.

The condition of the remaining occupants is not known at this stage.

Initial reports are that the vehicle hit a bridge.
