Body of missing kayaker recovered

Members of the Police National Dive Squad recovered the body of Allan William Hill from Lake Poerua at around 2.00pm today.

Mr HILL aged 45, Self Employed from the Greymouth Area was the occupant of Canadian Canoe which overturned on Lake Poerua at around 10.30am on Friday.

Next of kin have been advised and the matter will be referred to the Coroner.
