Public help catch pharmacy robber

On the 27 May 2008 the Hornby Police arrested a 33 year old female for the Aggravated robbery of the Spreydon Pharmacy on 15 May 2008.

Police allege that the 33 year old female walked into the Spreydon Pharmacy at around 2.20pm on Thursday the 15 May 2008.

She had her face concealed with a bandana and presented a 30cm kitchen knife at the Pharmacy attendants and demanded that they give her Methadone.

After she was given a bottle of Methadone she walked out of the Pharmacy.

After some great help from the community a suspect was identified, and a search warrant was executed this morning in Hoon Hay leading to the female's arrest.

The 33 year old female beneficiary is appearing the Christchurch District Court this afternoon on a charge of Aggravated Robbery.
