Truck v 4 wheeler quad bike

At approximately 3:40pm on the 30th May 2008, a 67 year old South Wairarapa farmer was struck while riding his 4 wheeler motor cycle on SH 53, Featherston.

The man was struck by a small truck while attempting to turn into a driveway.

The road was shut for approximately 3 hours while the Police conducted a scene examination.

The man was transported to Masterton Hospital by ambulance where he is reported to be in a serious but stable condition

There is no name release at this stage
