Emergency services, Police Fire and Ambulance, are currently attending a crash on the riverbed 100 meters from the Ashley River Bridge.

A 4 wheel drive vehicle has rolled and a person in the vehicle was trapped.

The person has just been released from the vehicle and is now enroute to Christchurch Hospital by rescue helicoptor.
