Critical crash in South Auckland

8pm Police and other emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious crash on Linwood Road Karaka, South Auckland.

Three vehicles are involved in the crash.

Two drivers are critically injured, three persons in the third vehicle are trapped but not seriously injured.

As a result of the crash Linwood Road will be closed for an estimated 5 hours.

Motorists intending to use Linwood Road to reach Kingseat and Clarkes Beach are advised to use State Highway 27 (SH27)

SH27 can be accessed via the Drury off-ramp on SH1 in either direction.
