Crash at Raumanga

As a result of a crash involving a truck and trailer unit, Rewa Rewa Rd and Kioreroa Rd will be closed with diversions in place through SH1.

It appears that the truck left the road and drove into a ditch. Only the one vehicle is involved and the driver has sustained some facial injuries.

A Police investigation has commenced to determine the cause of the crash.

The road is expected to be closed for at least two hours and motorists are asked to use alternative routes.
