Icy road conditions in the Greta Valley

Road Warning: Police advise that road conditions are icy and very dangerous on all roads between Waipara and Cheviot in the South Island.

The North bound lane on State Highway 1 at Greta Valley currently has two trucks stuck blocking the northern lane due to ice.

Traffic is backed up some way due to the blockage.
