Homicide in Banks Peninsula

At 8.00pm tonight Police responded to an address in Port Levy, Banks Peninsula to investigate a serious assault.

On arrival it was established that a male at the address was deceased.

Police have instigated a homicide inquiry headed by Detective Senior Sergeant John Rae.

The scene has been secured and a full investigation will continue through the night.

No further media releases will be made until Wednesday morning when more information will be available.
