Two bodies found on roof of train

At 0300hrs on the 12 of June 2008, Police were called to the railway yards near Annex Road in Christchurch.

Two bodies were located on the roof of a carriage.

They appear to be males in there early twenties.

The CIB and the pathologist went to scene. At this early stage the Police are not treating the deaths as suspicious.

However a full enquiry will continue to establish the cause of death.

A post-mortem will be carried out this morning and the matter will be referred to the coroner.
