School patrol 'march for road safety' - traffic delays expected

At approximately 10.00am this morning, the Wellington Youth Education Service is hosting the annual School Patrols 'march for Road safety' in conjunction with the Wellington City Council.

The march will depart Parliament grounds at approximately 10.00am - and will last approximately half an hour.

The parade will travel south on Lambton Quay, right into Willis street, left in to Mercer Street and arrive at civic square at approximately 10.30am.

Some traffic delays can be expected in these areas at this time.
