A Tuakau company has been charged with 26 counts of discharging objectionable odour and breach of an abatement notice.

The offences are alleged to have occurred between January and April this year, said Environment Waikato senior investigator Patrick Lynch.

The company’s first court appearance on the charges is set down for the Pukekohe District Court on 9 July.

Environment Waikato said it will not be releasing other details at this stage.
