WEST COAST

No change from the overnight situation.

The author of the anonymous letter has still not made contact.

Detective Inspector Winter invited the person to write again if they did not feel comfortable with making direct contact.

There had been no other response from the Westport community to the appeal for those with relevant information to come forward.

Information had been received yesterday linking the disappearance of Mr KIM with the body of a man found at Meybille Bay some years ago who had previously worked at Pyramid Farm near Charleston.

Police are investigating this information but there is no apparent link at the moment.

Detective Inspector Winter said that police were investigating the possibility that Mr KIM was hitch-hiking at the time of his disappearance, and sought the assistance of any motorists who may have picked up a Korean tourist in the Westport-Charleston area during the September- December period of 2003.
