WANG homicide; further arrests made in Counties Manukau District

Counties Manukau Police have made further arrests this afternoon in the homicide investigation of Joanne Wang.

Two males aged 19 and 22 years old respectively, both residents of Otara have been arrested and charged with offences relating to the disposal of the stolen white Nissan four wheel drive recovered at the Manukau Sports Bowl on Wednesday 18th of June. They will appear in the Manukau District Court tomorrow morning.

Earlier today, a 19 year old male appeared in the Manukau District Court on charges relating to after the fact
following the recovery of Joanne Wang's handbag. Details of this man's name and circumstances relating to the charge have been suppressed. He has been remanded in custody.
 

The investigation continues on identifying the driver of the four wheel drive vehicle which struck Joanne.
Police further appeal to the driver of a red vehicle which was struck by the white four wheel drive at the time of the incident.
