Hostage incident over

The incident reported to Police at 1203pm on the 27 June 2008 in Morley Avenue Christchurch, has been resolved and the woman was not harmed.

Papanui Police are continuing enquiries to locate all the parties involved to establish what lead to the reporting of this incident.

A further press release will be made later this afternoon once enquiries have been completed.
