The recent Stratford District Council and TET Home Safety Project questionnaires produced a solid response from the Stratford community.

While the information from the questionnaires is still being processed, two responses have been plucked at random to win a prize.

The prize for both questionnaires were $100 of Stratford Business Association vouchers.

The winner of the Stratford District Council questionnaire draw was Gordon Hendrick. He came in to the Council office on Miranda Street to collect his prize from Stratford Mayor John Edwards. John said “congratulations on your good luck! This process provides valuable feedback from the community to this Council, so that the thoughts and opinions offered can be taken on board when looking at future levels of service.”

Two people jointly won the TET Home Safety Project prize draw. Barry and Linley Ladd from rural Stratford were presented with their prize by Pauline James, Project Chairman (Victim Support), who co-sponsors the project. Pauline said that the responses of the questionnaires had so far have been positive. “The results are essential, as they give us important information as to the value of the project to the community.”

Over 720 Council questionnaires and 550 TET Home Safety Project questionnaires were returned.
