Vehicles stuck in Porters Pass

10pm - Opus advise that State Highway 73 west of Springfield is closed due to snow.

A number of vehicles have been stuck in Porters Pass. A bus which had been stuck, along with 4WD vehicles are now off the pass. Other vehicles are still stuck but Opus is working on it. 2 graders are being used and a grit truck is in the area.

Opus expect the road to freeze and it is not likely to reopen until the sun comes out.
