Serious vehicle crash in Southern District

11/05am - Police, Fire and Ambulance staff are inattendance at a serious vehicle crash on State Highway 1 Edendale.

A car and truck have collided. Injuries are reported as serious, but unknown to whom and from what vehicle.

State Highway 1 is blocked at the scene with detours in place for traffic travelling through. There may be some delays for traffic to negotiate the area.
