Witnesses to fatal sought

Police are seeking any witnesses to a fatal motor accident, car v pedestrian, that occurred yesterday morning 14th July at about 09.20am on the Main South Road opposite the Garvins Road Shops.

An elderly pedestrian was crossing the Main South Road from the bus stop area south towards the Shops at Garvins Road.

"I am seeking any motorist who may have seen a lone, elderly woman who was paused at the bus stop, says Senior Constable Peter Carrington. "It is thought the victim may have just got off a bus."
