Person falls on Glacier

A 20 year old male has been airlifted to Christchurch Hospital after falling on Rolleston Glacier on Mount Philistine, Arthurs Pass.

He is believed to have fallen about 100 metres and suffered facial injuries and possible fractures.

The accident was reported at about 1.22pm today.
