Stabbing in Jollie Street

A forty year old man appeared in the Christchurch District Court this morning on an assault charge that relates to an assault last night at an address in Jollie Street, Linwood, Christchurch.

A thirty year old man was stabbed in the chest and a 13 year old girl has injuries to her arm. They are both in a stable condition in Christchurch Public Hospital.

Detective Senior Sergeant David Harvey says they are currently being spoken to by police and he believes that further charges may be laid.
