Onehunga fire victim named

A post mortem has been carried out on the body of a deceased male person located in the burnt out garage at an address in Paihia Rd,Onehunga on Thursday morning.

The examination found that he most likely died of smoke inhalation.

The deceased male has been formally identified as Nicholas John Game,37 years of Onehunga.
His next of kin have been informed.

A scene examination has also determined that the most likely cause of the fire was an electrical fault.
