Shooting Incident - Christchurch Central City

Police have arrested two 17 year old men following a shooting incident in the Christchurch Central City shortly after midnight on Sunday 20 July 2008.

It is alleged that a firearm was discharged from a moving vehicle at another moving vehicle.

The two arrested men were driving a 1989 Toyota Corona sedan coloured white around the city centre for some time on the evening this occurred.

Police would like to speak to the occupants of a BMW coloured green that also had an altercation with the two men in the Toyota earlier in the evening.

The two men will appear in the Christchurch District Court on Monday 21 July 2008 charged with firearms offences.
