Armed robbery

West Auckland police are investigating the robbery of a New Lynn dairy.

Shortly before 3pm police were called to the dairy.

A long barrelled firearm was presented at a female who received a minor gunshot wound.

She is receiving medical attention.

Police are seeking information from the public who may have seen a silver coloured vehicle leaving the area on Great North road towards New Lynn.
