Road Closure in Eastern District, 5:30am 27 Jul 2008

State Hwy 2 north of Lake Tutira has been closed to all traffic due to numerous slips affecting both north and south bound lanes.

Transit are working on clearing the slips.

It is unknown when the road will be re-opened.
