One dies in house fire in Meremere

Police advise at approx 0300hrs this morning they were called to a house fire at a residential address Meremere village, Meremere.

One male has died and a child has been taken to hospital with burns. Police and Fire investigators are making enq's at the address into the cause of the fire.
