Truck Crash - Lines Down in Waikato

A section of SH27 near Tahuna has been closed due to a crash.

The trailer of a truck struck a power pole just after 7.00 am bringing down power lines. The closure is to allow the pole to be replaced and the scene to be cleared.

A short diversion using Maukoro Landing, Old Hill and Hart Roads is in place. The diversions are expected to remain in place until about midday.

No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
